In this page I have also uploaded papers written by other researchers  which I reckon are very interesting. These papers touch issues related to my research interests.

Some of my stuff in a nutshell

Professionally...

I'm a psychologist interested in understanding how people use their background knowledge to parse language in general and narrative texts in particular. I'm interested in knowing how sensorimotor knowledge may contribute to the comprehension of abstract concepts, specially, emotions both in real and fictional contexts.

Lately, I've become interested in understanding the logic behind hypothesis testing procedures and statistical approaches used in psychological research. My aim is to have a good grasp of the statistics used in experimental work in order to, MAYBE, further current procedures and/or come up with alternative research methods.

Personally...

I enjoy playing guitar (electric and acoustic), listening to music (although I prefer heavy rock I can stand almost anything), and learning other languages (at the moment Japanese is my challenge).
